Preeminent entertainment attorney, and SONA’s not so secret weapon, Dina LaPolt took the annual MIDEM conference by storm this week with her keynote speech.
Ms. LaPolt pulled no punches when discussing the recent appeal by Spotify and other streaming services to the Copyright Royalty Board’s (CRB) ruling last year to give songwriters and publishers a long overdue rate increase.
